The current game is built around Core -> Bridge -> Payoff chains, so support should make one of those links stronger instead of flattening every deck into the same safe plan.
Good support:
- protects a narrow combo turn
- preserves value you already built
- helps a real deck plan work
- gives sustain to a deck that earned it
- helps a bridge card reach its payoff window
Bad support:
- erases mistakes for free
- makes every deck equally safe
- turns payoff keywords into generic consistency
- gives unconditional refill that ignores sequencing
