Support systems include:

  • consumables
  • slot upgrades

They should help a build do something specific. The current game is built around Core -> Bridge -> Payoff chains, so support should make one of those links stronger instead of flattening every deck into the same safe plan.

Good support:

  • protects a narrow combo turn
  • preserves value you already built
  • helps a real deck plan work
  • gives sustain to a deck that earned it
  • helps a bridge card reach its payoff window

Bad support:

  • erases mistakes for free
  • makes every deck equally safe
  • turns payoff keywords into generic consistency
  • gives unconditional refill that ignores sequencing
